WE HAVE AMMO!!
Ammunition inventory continues to improve and we now have a small quantity of 22lr - not enough to sell in bricks yet! :-(
We have also relaxed the policy to only sell ammo to our firearms customers.
We have 380, 9mm, 40sw, and 45acp ammo (see limitations below)!
Since I do not often update this site, I thought I would make it a little easier to find out if there is anything new on the site.
Now that some of the tension regarding gun control has diminished at the Federal Level (state legislation is still pending), my hope is that firearm and ammunition availability will improve over the next 6 months!
After having a 62% increase in business in 2012, the first quarter of 2013 was a record quarter! As a result of increase demand and limited availability of ammo and firearms, we have had to make some changes. The following changes are effective immediately:
1. Sales of ammunition will be restricted to 100 rounds per week. This comes as a result of customers (non-firearm) purchasers, coming with friends just to buy ammo. We also can reserve ammo for participants of our Last Chance Tactical events. The ammo must be prepaid and will be kept at the Carry Depot for usage at events. Let me know if you are interested.
2. Due to increased training obligations (carry permit, beginning handgun, advanced handgun, etc), the Carry Depot Store will only be open Wednesday thru Saturday, 9AM-5PM. We still might be available on the other days by appointment, so always give us a call.
As many of you are already aware, we also offer Carry Permit training at the Osakis General Store. Please contact the General Store (320 859-5159) for dates, fees, etc.
Old News:
1. The newest and hottest item at the Carry Depot are:
A. Sterling Type II, 9mm. These Century Arms modification of the British sub-machine gun. The modification includes changing to a semi-auto configuration and lengthening the barrel to allow the legal unfolding of the stock. Comes with two 34 round magazines.
C. Polish P64. Small little sem-automatic in 9mm X 18 caliber. $199 (excellent condition).
Carry classes and Beginning Handgun classes are really
booking fast. The large increase in women getting training
is amazing!
Remember, we only need 4 people to schedule a carry class (if
you have four, all new permittees get a $10 discount ($70
instead of $80) - all renewals are only $60)!
